National Defence Academy (NDA) is located at Chandigarh, and is the first tri-service academy in the world. To gain entry into the NDA, aspiring candidates have to write the NDA exam. The NDA exam is conducted twice a year in the months of April and September by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Recruitment of candidates to the three wings of Indian Armed Forces namely Army, Navy and Air Force is through the NDA Coaching in Chandigarh. The selected candidates undergo training at NDA before they are commissioned into service.
